

As the air turns crisp and the days grow shorter, we naturally gather closer — around tables, around firelight, and around flavours that remind us of the harvest season.
To celebrate the launch of our new
glassware collection, we’ve created a signature autumn cocktail pairing
designed to be made at home, whether you prefer to drink with or without
alcohol.

The Amber Orchard
A warming, alcohol-free sip of apple, spice and smoke —
rich in flavour, golden in colour, and perfect for cosy evenings.
Ingredients (per glass):
- 60 ml cloudy apple juice (unfiltered, chilled)
- 20 ml fresh lemon juice
- 15 ml cinnamon–maple syrup*
- 7 ml smoky lapsang souchong tea concentrate**
- 1 dash non-alcoholic bitters (aromatic or walnut style)
Method:
- Shake all ingredients with ice.
- Double strain into a glass.
- Garnish with a dehydrated or fresh apple slice clipped to the rim.
Best served in: the Colborne Rounded Wine Glass or the Colborne Amber Stemless Wine Glass.
The rounded bowl highlights the warm amber colour and allows the drink’s aromatic apple and spice notes to open up. The stemless amber glass, with its modern silhouette and seasonal hue, makes a perfect match for
an autumnal serve.
*For the cinnamon–maple syrup: Combine 1 part maple syrup and 1 part hot water with 2 cinnamon sticks. Simmer for 10 minutes, cool, strain.
**For the lapsang tea concentrate: Steep 2 tsp tea in 120 ml hot water for 5 minutes. Strain, cool, and store in the fridge.

The Harvest Flame
A bold and elegant cocktail of Calvados, spiced amaro and maple — finished with smoke and citrus for an autumnal flourish.
Ingredients (per glass):
- 60 ml Calvados (apple brandy)
- 15 ml Amaro Nonino (or another spiced amaro)
- 15 ml cinnamon–maple syrup*
- 20 ml fresh lemon juice
- 1 dash black walnut bitters (or Angostura)
- Optional: bar spoon smoky Scotch (as a rinse or float)
Method:
- Shake with ice and double strain into a glass.
- Garnish with a dehydrated apple wheel, dusted lightly with cinnamon sugar.
- Express an orange peel over the top for a warm, aromatic finish.
Best served in: the
Colborne Tapered Wine Glass or the Colborne Champagne Coupe.
The tapered wine glass concentrates aromas of Calvados, amaro and bitters, creating a more nuanced sipping experience. The coupe offers a timeless, celebratory feel — especially striking when finished with a spiced
apple wheel garnish.
