We caught up with Hannah to learn more about her creative journey, her approach to interior design, and the advice she'd share with anyone looking to create a home they'll enjoy for years to come.

Tell us about yourself and your journey into interior design.

I grew up around design - my father was an architect, and I spent my childhood immersed in my parents' various renovation projects. Studying Art History gave me a real grounding in reading and analysing images, and from there I started my career at interiors magazines - art directing, styling and producing photoshoots.


The next natural step was to create these interiors that could be actually lived in and enjoyed over time which is where interior design for private clients came in. I think I've always had an innate sensitivity to my surroundings; I'm constantly, almost instinctively, searching for interesting compositions and things, whether in a room or in everyday life.

How would you describe your design style?

Natural, warm, timeless, and layered. I aim to create beauty in balance, authenticity and interest in interiors - and in how this reveals itself over time, quietly adding inspiration to the everyday.

What do you love most about helping people create their ideal home?

I love to try and find inspiration for people - discovering what they love and then seeing how translating that into a considered environment can transform their mood and enjoyment of a space, day to day.

What can customers expect from a consultation?

A first consultation involves running through the scope and logistics of a project and touching on the client’s initial desires for their space. We will discuss what they are looking for and the ways we can help.

In further consultations, we go on a deeper dive - into lifestyle, inspiration, likes and dislikes, and how a space is used, to really understand the client and how we can transform their interior to enhance the way they live.

Who is the service perfect for?

It’s perfect for someone starting from scratch or simply looking for a fresh perspective on a space they already love. It's also ideal for those who want to bring an editorial feel to their home: a considered, layered look that feels curated rather than trend-led, without needing to do it all themselves.

What's the most common challenge customers come to you with?

Decision fatigue is a common one. There are so many decisions involved in renovating a home, and people come to us for support and guidance in making the right ones- saving time and money on mistakes that could otherwise be costly.

What's one piece of advice you'd give someone looking to refresh their home?

Ultimately, think about how you’d like to ‘feel’ in your space as a starting point rather than how you want it to ‘look’. This is where the colours, patterns, style and personality of the room all stem from.

What's one simple change that can have the biggest impact on a room?

Changing the floor, the base of a room has a huge impact. Flooring is both tactile and sensory, as well as having a significant visual effect on a room. It can feel soft or hard underfoot, be light or dark to the eye, add texture, and make a room appear bigger or smaller. It's a huge expanse - the surface on which everything else sits. For a simple fix the right rug can achieve this instantly.
