A Cosy Seasonal Treat at Parsons Green

If you’re passing through Parsons Green this season, do pop in for a little indulgence - you deserve it. Our store is feeling wonderfully festive right now, full of warm lights, seasonal touches, and plenty of inspiration for your home. And while you browse, we’d absolutely recommend treating yourself to one of our very special hot chocolates.

We serve them in our one-of-a-kind Wonki Ware mugs, each one handmade, completely unique, and full of charm. No two are ever the same, which we think makes that first sip feel even more comforting. Ours comes topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, a sprinkle of chocolate… and a cheerful gingerbread man on the side. It’s the sort of cosy moment that makes winter feel magical.

Bring the Experience Home

If you can’t make it to Parsons Green, or you’d simply like to recreate the moment at home, here’s a super-easy hot chocolate recipe you can whip up in minutes.

All you need is one of our lovely Wonki Ware mugs to make it feel just as special.

Simple Homemade Hot Chocolate (Serves 1)

Warm 250ml of milk (dairy or your favourite alternative) in a small pan until steaming.

Stir in 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder and 1–2 teaspoons of sugar (or your preferred sweetener).

Add a small handful of chocolate chips and whisk until melted and silky.

Pour into your Wonki Ware mug.

Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, a dusting of cocoa or cinnamon, or whatever makes you happiest.

Serve with something festive - we used a gingerbread man, but you can pair yours with anything you fancy: a mince pie, a biscotti, a chocolate truffle, or a homemade treat.
